Jacaranda Mimosifolia
This specimen tree from brazil is a visual delight when in full flower. In late spring-summer masses of mauve- blue tubular flowers smother the tree followed by decorative seed pods.

Deciduous. Dark purple foliage on red stems make this a popular garden addition. Small, white-pink button-like flowers in summer and spectacularly bright red foliage in autumn. Hardy. 2m x 1.5m

Lace aloe or torch plant. Clump forming with soft dark green foliage and orange flowers on tallish stems.
Crassula Portulacea
The real money tree or good luck plant. Put one by the front and back door from the house for good luck. It might be an old tale but you never know your luck. Easy to grow but a bit frost tender. Plant in pots or that sunny warm garden.
Heuchera 'Dark Secret' (PVR)
Heavily ruffled margins of leaves are deep purple-bronze colour with slight silver sheen on the leaf surface. Spikes of delicate cream flowers are produced in summer. Hardy. 0.3 x 0.3m.
Rhododedron Vireya ‘Cherry Glow’
Cherry-red flowers. A compact grower reaching 80cm in height. Vireya Saxon Glow is frost tender but can be grown in pots which means it can be moved in winter to more suitable areas. Plant in part shade. Prefers a moist, acidic soil.
